1. Who is responsible

The controller of personal data on worksmarter.pl is Bartosz Sękiewicz, a natural person. Contact: kontakt@worksmarter.pl.

2. What is collected and why

The site sets no cookies of its own. It stores one entry in your browser’s local storage (ws_consent) that remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics.

Until you accept, your browser makes no request to Google. If you accept, the page loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BG58CYLY86). Google Analytics then sets the cookies _ga and _ga_BG58CYLY86 and receives usage data.

The tag is configured with advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization denied. The data is used for statistics about this site only.

If you write to kontakt@worksmarter.pl, I process your email address and the content of your message in order to reply.

3. Server logs

When you visit the site, the server records technical data of the request: your IP address, the time, the requested address and your browser identifier. I keep it for security and to diagnose faults. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The logs are deleted after at most 90 days. They are not used for analytics or profiling, and this happens whether or not you accept analytics.

4. Legal basis

Analytics runs on your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is optional: the site works the same if you reject. Replying to an email you sent rests on my legitimate interest in answering the people who contact me, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Recipients and transfers outside the EEA

If you accept analytics, the data goes to Google, which provides Google Analytics. Google may process it in the United States and other countries outside the European Economic Area. Google LLC states that it is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Where Google does not rely on that framework for a transfer, it uses standard contractual clauses. I do not pass the data to anyone else and I do not sell it.

6. How long data is kept

7. Your rights

You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to kontakt@worksmarter.pl.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, PUODO), ul. Stanisława Moniuszki 1A, 00-014 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.

8. Withdrawing consent

Use here or in the footer of any page and choose Reject. The page stops sending data to Google Analytics and removes the _ga cookies it can reach. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. You can also delete the cookies in your browser settings.

9. Changes

The date at the top shows the latest revision. The Polish version of this page says the same.
